BIGGER THAN KIDS’ BOOKS
In the sunny seaside town of Yanoosa, Frank and Stein see treasure where others see junk.
With imagination, clever fixes and a sprinkle of magic, broken toys and second-hand treasures are brought bouncing back to life as Kangamoo and the Not New Crew.
Frankenrhyme is a world of rhyming picture books, activities and big kid ideas that inspire children to reuse, repurpose and reimagine, while discovering that looking after the planet and your piggy bank can start with one old toy.

TESTIMONIALS
“These books are so much fun! Written in the spirit of Dr. Seuss with two inventive and determined kids at the helm of every adventure! As a producer of a show that aims to inspire its young viewers, I was immediately drawn to the fun and imaginative approach the kids take to solving the problem of each story. Keep ‘em coming!.”
Jeff Probst - Host and Executive Producer of US Survivor
"I love the magic animals! Crabbit is super cute, and the Kangamoo is silly…they make me laugh. Frank’n’Stein are really smart. Their animals are so strong, and I like it when they help everyone.”
Eloise Petillo - LA
These books are so fun, creative, and imaginative! We love the Aussie slang, too; it makes bedtime stories super exciting. You will be trying to make up your own characters with different animals—just wait!
Jimmy, Tam and Frankie Wilkins - The BLOCK legends
“Frank’n’Stein taps into the inner child in all of us. I dare you not to laugh whilst reading it”
Stevie Nicholson - Hi-5
I was delighted to read the first three books in your new Frankenrhyme books series. I was captivated from the first page. The concept is so original and so relevant to children's lives today. The compassion shown by your heroes, Frank & Stein, is lovely and a wonderful subtle message for children that resonates through each book. Then there is their creativity and resourcefulness in remaking, remodelling and reimagining - a fabulous theme for little ones in our throwaway world.

About the Author / Illustrator
A geologist, turned TV producer, turned author and illustrator (of sorts), Dan was inspired by a random encounter with a chicken (chook) and a kookaburra… “Chookaburra.”
A love for the absurd, recycling “junk” and bad puns led to Frankenrhyme’s mystery series.
Dan acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land, the Gubbi Gubbi (Kabi Kabi) people, where he, Frank, and Stein reside, in both fact and fiction.
