Meet Dan Munday
A geologist turned TV producer turned author and illustrator, of sorts, Dan was inspired to create Kangamoo and the Not New Crew after a random encounter with a chicken, known as a “chook” in Australia, and a kookaburra. A Chookaburra.
That love of the absurd, along with recycling “junk” and bad puns, became the Frankenrhyme mystery series.
Dan acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land, the Gubbi Gubbi/Kabi Kabi people, where he, Frank and Stein reside, in both fact and fiction.
